I really can’t help myself from looking for new Anzac Day traditions. I see all the beautiful wreaths and my crazy craft brain kicks in and I find myself wanting to make our own.
If you feel the same, then you are going to love these simple crafts and recipes!

What a fantastic way to use up those egg cartons you’ve been saving! Your little ones can transform them into beautiful poppies.
Just stick them onto a round paper plate to create a remembrance wreath. This one is such a great way to recycle.
2. Anzac Biscuits

Let’s talk about the classic Anzac biscuits! I love the story behind these. They were sent to soldiers by wives and girlfriends because the ingredients kept well during transportation and didn’t spoil easily.
It’s mentioned they weren’t initially as appetizing as the yummy ones we make today!
3. Rosemary Wreath

Rosemary is so special for Anzac Day. A twig is often worn on lapels, and its fragrance is thought to improve memory. Rosemary plants also grow wild on the Gallipoli Peninsula where the Anzacs fought.
As a variation to the twig, why not try making it into a wreath? I think this would look so lovely hanging on the door.
4. Paper Plate Poppy

Your little ones can make their own paper plate poppy for Anzac Day. I just know toddlers are really going to enjoy this one!
